Simple Balloon Dog Instructions

I have moved the site to Balloon Animals where I have free video clips of how to make balloon animals.

If you are looking to purchase twisting balloons or hand pumps, please check out my balloon animal store

The balloon dog is one of the simplest balloon animals. It is also one the most popular. It has become one of the corner stones of balloon art. Many balloon animals have been made from alerting the proportions of a balloon dog.

  1. Inflate a 260Q about half it full potential. You can do this by folding the un-inflated balloon in half, and inflating to the mid section crease.

  2. Twist three 3 inches long sections (roughly the length of your index finger.)

  3. Lock Twist the 1-2 seam with the 3-4 seam.

This is the head of the dog.
  4. Twist a small 1 inch section (the dogs neck), followed by two 4 inch sections (legs).

  5. Lock twist the 4-5 seam with the 6-7 seam.

This is the front half of the dog.
  6. Twist three 4 inch sections (body and hind legs of the dog.)

  7. Lock Twist the 7-8 with the 9-10 seam.

And there you have the basic balloon dog. Straighten it up; adjust the positions of the head and legs. Once you draw on its eyes, nose, and mouth, you are ready to go.

If you have enough air and slack in the tail, you can create a poodle tail
