When I firsted started twisting balloons, I was taught to how to make a cat. The instructions were very simple and straight forward.

1. Make a dog
2. Draw cat eyes on it

I was very upset that no decent balloon instructions were avalible to me on how to make a simple, yet nice looking balloon cat. Thus I had to create my own, for there are twice as many cat people in the world as there are dog people.

This is the very first design that I come up with on my own. It all started here, when I tried to figure out how to make a balloon cat.

1. Aquire the balloon, color of your choice, and inflate with in 5 inches (leave a 5 inch tail).
   
2. Twist two small (less than an inch) bubbles. These will for the mouth of our cat.
   
3. Twist the nipple (knot) of the balloon into the seam between the sencond bubble and the tail of the balloon.
   Note: I like to take the extra bit ot the balloon that has the knot and wrap it in between the seam of the first and second bubbles after this. It gives it a nice mussled look.
   
4. Twsit two very small bubbles. These with be the back of the head and provie support for the mouth. You might recogonize it from a teady bear head. If so then you know where I'm going with this.
   
5. Twist Five bubbles (slighlty larger than the two you did for the mouth. Twist the seam of teh balloons tail into the the seam of the secound bubble protuding from the mouth. This will be our head and ears. Its very simular to a teady bears head.
